Cybersecurity

A good tool stack is important. Your security posture however is what will dictate how well your clients follow your lead. Do you have sufficient documented security practices? Is there a tracking methodology for ensuring that your staff has read and acknowledged the policies each year? Are the policies reviewed and updated yearly? Do your best practices match what the insurance carriers expect them to be? Do you have a written defense for why they don’t? Do you notify clients when someone leaves your team?

All of the questions above and more are discussed as part of our SECURE OUTCOMES initiative that we kicked off in 2019. Our goal is to put all of our members in the best position possible when it comes to cybersecurity. While tool selection is certainly part of the conversation, we believe procedures and execution are the key.
